[ Jori's never been one to push people away, and in some ways he knows that it's a bad thing, that it leaves him more vulnerable. But how could anyone expect him not to love his family, to adore Hikari, to enjoy his friends? Ignoring all that seems like such a sad, lonely thing to do, one that Jori's quite sure he couldn't handle anyway.

Still, Tia is a special case and he knows it, because every time Mag is in danger they will both be in danger, and that vulnerability will be right there, every single time, not just a distant possibility. But in some ways he thinks that it will be easier, because he won't have to leave, because they'll understand what obligations the other has.

As long as they don't forget what their duty - the whole reason (he thinks at times) for his existence - is, then he can't see how this is wrong. Risky, yes. Potentially dumb, yes. But not wrong. ]

I'm not sorry if that's what I'm "doing to you".

[ In a minute he'll have to get up, but for right now he just wants to lie here and bask in the afterglow, to feel her hands on him, her hip under his hand, and all the other places skin touches skin. ]
