[ koromaru did have it easier than the other kids, had less things to worry about other than protecting the shrine and the memory of his master and, if he thinks about it, the rest of SEES too. they were his world: SEES, the shrine, and his master. small, compared to the rest of the world, but just as important. without any of them, he probably wouldn't be here today, hanging out with her and eating fuuka's ground beef.

he takes a second to lift his head a little, pressing his nose against her hand and licking her fingers. the memories are hazy (maybe he's starting to get old), but he still recalls their nightly walks and playing fetch on lazy weekends. he misses those days, when he was surrounded by them and their voice drove away the loneliness. ]
